Our Portfolio

Every building tells a story - here's some we've been lucky enough to help tell. From century-old landmarks we've brought back to life to brand-new spaces that'll be here for generations.

We've spent years getting our hands dirty with all kinds of projects around Vancouver and beyond. Some are heritage gems that needed serious love, others are fresh designs that respect what came before while pushing things forward. Take a look around.

Gastown Heritage Building Restoration

Gastown Heritage Building

This 1889 brick beauty was falling apart when we got the call. Spent 18 months carefully restoring the original timber frame, brick facade, and those gorgeous arched windows. Now it's mixed-use - shops below, lofts above.

West Vancouver Eco-Residence

West Vancouver Eco-Residence

Client wanted a home that'd disappear into the forest but still feel modern. Went all-in on passive solar, local timber, and a green roof that's basically part of the hillside now. LEED Platinum certified.

Yaletown Commercial Complex

Yaletown Commercial Complex

Tech startup needed room to grow. We designed this four-storey space with flexible floor plans, tons of natural light, and rooftop terraces. The ground floor opens to the street - keeps things lively.

Strathcona Victorian Restoration

Strathcona Victorian Restoration

1902 Queen Anne that'd seen better days. Original owners would recognize it now though - we saved the decorative woodwork, rebuilt the turret, even tracked down period-appropriate paint colors. Interior's been modernized without losing the character.

Fraser Street Mixed-Use Development

Fraser Street Mixed-Use Development

Worked with the city to turn an old industrial lot into something the neighbourhood actually needed. Retail on the ground floor, affordable housing units above, community garden on the roof. It's been full since day one.

Urban Development Completed: November 2024
Kitsilano Laneway House

Kitsilano Laneway House

These laneway houses are tricky - gotta fit everything into maybe 800 square feet. Made it work with clever storage, vaulted ceilings to avoid the cramped feeling, and big windows facing the garden. Client's daughter lives there now.

Sustainable Residential Completed: April 2024
Mount Pleasant Church Conversion

Mount Pleasant Church Conversion

1920s church that'd been sitting empty for years. Kept the sanctuary intact - those stained glass windows are incredible - and converted the rest into artist studios and a small performance space. Community still uses it for concerts.

Heritage Restoration Completed: September 2023
Downtown Boutique Hotel

Downtown Boutique Hotel

Transformed a 1960s office building into a 45-room hotel. Stripped it back to the concrete structure, added floor-to-ceiling windows, and created these intimate spaces that feel way more personal than your typical hotel. Lobby bar's become a local hangout.

Commercial Architecture Completed: May 2024
Bowen Island Waterfront Residence

Bowen Island Waterfront Residence

Client retired and wanted something low-maintenance right on the water. Designed it so every room's got ocean views, used materials that'll weather gracefully, and made sure it sits light on the land. They're out there kayaking most mornings now.

Sustainable Residential Completed: October 2024
Commercial Drive Public Plaza

Commercial Drive Public Plaza

Neighbourhood association wanted to reclaim some parking spaces for people. We designed this flexible plaza with movable seating, native plantings, and infrastructure for markets and events. Gets used differently every day - exactly what we hoped.

Urban Development Completed: July 2024
Railtown Warehouse Adaptive Reuse

Railtown Warehouse Adaptive Reuse

1930s warehouse with amazing bones - exposed brick, massive timber beams, original freight elevator. Converted it to creative office space while keeping all that industrial character. The tenants - mostly design firms - absolutely love it.

Heritage Restoration Completed: February 2024
Granville Island Restaurant

Granville Island Restaurant

Chef wanted a space that'd connect diners with the waterfront and the open kitchen. Lots of glass, natural materials, and a layout that makes the cooking part of the show. The patio's been packed since opening night.

Commercial Architecture Completed: December 2024
